Epoch Siege

Base against base, from clubs to lasers.

Battle in progress

Campaign

Thirty battles with their own rules, then the road splits three ways before the final battle. Each has three stars to earn, and every new star is a medal to spend in the Barracks.

Barracks

Earn medals from campaign stars and battle wins (Easy 1, Normal 2, Hard 3, Brutal 4). Pick a general, buy perks up to level 3, and take up to three perks into each battle. Generals level up (to 5) by leading battles: a win is worth 2 points plus the enemy level (3 in the campaign), a loss 1.

Your record

How to play
  • Your base is on the left, the enemy's on the right. Knock theirs down before they knock down yours.
  • Army: tap a unit to train it (up to five wait in the line). Fighters hold the front, shooters stand behind them, heavies are slow and tough, healers patch up the troops near them.
  • You earn gold all the time and more for every enemy you beat. Beating enemies also gives experience: fill the bar and tap Evolve to move into the next age, with far stronger units, defences and a stronger base.
  • Defences sit on your base and shoot whatever comes close. Buy more spots for them, and sell old ones when you move up an age.
  • Upgrades last the whole battle: sharper weapons, tougher troops, thicker walls, more gold, better defences and faster training.
  • The special button rains damage on the enemy army (in the Middle Ages it's a war horn that makes your troops hit harder and walk faster). It needs time to recharge.
  • The orders button switches between Charge, Hold (stand a little way out from your base) and Fall back (come home). Holding is handy while you save up.
  • In the Future Age there's nowhere left to evolve: your experience charges the Star Lance instead, which knocks a fifth off the enemy base. The enemy has one too, so keep beating their troops.
  • Each age has a champion: expensive, and only one at a time, but it is tough and hits bases three times as hard. Champions are how you break through strong defences.
  • Three lanes (a battle option, and many missions): tap a lane and it glows; everything you train marches down it until you pick another. Defences cover all three. Map view shows the battle from above.
  • Campaign: thirty missions with their own rules, then three roads and a final battle, each with three stars. Barracks: spend medals on perks (levels 1 to 3) and choose a general. You can take three perks into a battle. New generals and perks unlock as you clear missions.
  • Shooters aim at enemy healers when they can reach them, and a troop can only be healed about once a second, however many healers are behind it.
  • A unit that beats three enemies becomes a veteran (gold star): it heals up and hits harder.
  • Drag the battlefield to look around, or tap the strip at the top to jump there. The battle saves itself, so you can leave and carry on later.
